Secured $4.9 million campus
Non-profit partnership structure that supported the acquisition of a $4.9 million campus.
Background
A growing education organization needed a permanent home but lacked the structure and partnerships to finance a campus-scale acquisition. The opportunity required a creative ownership and funding model that a single entity could not carry alone.
The work
- Structured a 501(c)(3) partnership that made the campus acquisition viable
- Coordinated stakeholders across the non-profit, the district and funding partners to keep the deal moving
- Built the financial and governance framework the partnership needed to close and operate the campus
Outcomes
- Secured a $4.9 million campus through the partnership structure
- Established a governance model the partners continue to operate under
- Created a template for future facility partnerships
